As a nanny in Paris your primary task will be to create a safe, stimulating and happy environment for the children to grow up in. This is achieved through providing a structured day in which you organise age appropriate activities and games for the child. You will be responsible for researching and devising interesting, creative and productive methods to engage the kids.
A typical, full-time, working day is 8 – 10 hours and during this time the Nanny is also commonly responsible for all nursery duties. This could include changing nappies, preparing bottles, bathing, children’s laundry, keeping kids rooms tidy, preparing meals, aiding with homework, school runs and general errands. The tasks required vary from family to family and of course, depend on the age of the child.
Almost any activity could be made educational, so you can combine exploring the city whilst practicing English with the children. Visit some of the most prominent museums (most offer tours targeted at children), explore and learn about the famous sites, or simply relax whilst reading a book and having a picnic on the Champs de Mars with the Eiffel Tower as your view.
At Emily Rose Nannies we search for highly educated, enthusiastic and responsible child carers.
